Installed SCSI CD-ROM drive does not work due to device error 30.

Device error 30
Cause:
Device error number 30 occurred. SCSI controller is using a real mode driver that is not compatible with Windows 95.
Solution:
Contact next-level support or the manufacturer for an updated protected mode or real mode driver for the SCSI controller driver and reinstall the SCSI controller drive with updated driver.
1)Open the 'Device Manager'.
Device Manager 2) Select the 'View devices by type' radio button, and double-click on 'SCSI controllers' in the 'View devices by type' list box.
3) Select the SCSI controller driver and click 'Remove'. (The 'Confirm Device Removal' dialog box appears.)
'Confirm Device Removal' dialog box 4) Click 'OK'. (The 'Restart the Computer' dialog box appears)
5)Restart Windows 95.
6) After the computer has restarted, Open the 'Add New Hardware' icon and click 'Next'.
'Add New Hardware Wizard' dialog box 7) Select the 'No' radio button and click 'Next'.
Select 'No' radio button and click 'Next' 8) Double-click on the appropriate device type in the 'Hardware types' list box.
9) Select the device manufacturer from the 'Manufacturers' list box, and then select the device model from 'Models' list box.
10) Click 'Have Disk...' and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Click 'Have Disk...' 11) Select the appropriate resources (i.e. IRQ, DMA, and I/O addresses) for the device driver, and click 'Next'.
CAUTION: Please refer to the device's installation manual before assigning resources for the driver. Incorrectly assigning resources to a driver may cause conflicts with other devices. 12) Click 'Finish'.
Click 'Finish' 13) Click 'Yes' to restart the computer.
